Prior to joining Central Pediatrics, I gained invaluable experience as a nurse in a busy Twin Cities birth center. There, I provided comprehensive care to families during labor and delivery, postpartum and to infants in the newborn nursery and NICU. I loved helping families during this special time and especially enjoyed teaching families newborn care and providing breastfeeding support. To improve the care I delivered to families, I decided to become an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant.

Joining the Central Pediatrics team as a lactation consultant has been a privilege and I am able to focus on and do what I love every day – helping families feed their baby! I often say that I have the best job in the entire world, and I genuinely believe that. I strive to provide non-judgmental breastfeeding assistance and guidance and will work collaboratively with you and the pediatrician to ensure that you feel supported throughout your feeding journey.

Outside of my professional role, I enjoy bike riding with my husband, knitting, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
